Amath – Solving Trigonometric Equations part 2

Here’s part 2 of solving trigonometric equations.
In example 1 below, the tip is to convert to one single trigonometric function – tan x.

For example 2, students are required to find two more solutions by going one more round (add 360) as they still fit in the range.

In our last example, we make use of double angle formula sin2A = 2sinAcosA to convert to one single trigonometric function.
